Evangel prayerfully considers each Care Request, with a heart to offer meaningful support for a person’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental needs. Care is available for those who have been actively involved at Evangel for a minimum of six months. If you are not currently connected to Evangel, we encourage you to contact your home church for assistance. Please note that Evangel is not equipped to offer immediate aid. If urgent help is needed, dial 211 to connect with North Dakota’s emergency helpline.

When evaluating requests, the Care Ministry prayerfully considers the following criteria (including but not limited to):

Is the requester regularly engaged at Evangel (e.g. attending services, serving on a Dream Team, involved in a Connect Group)?
Is there a plan to find stability in the situation going forward?
Are there family, friends, or other sources of support that should be involved?
Does the individual have a plan in place for managing their finances?

Evangel’s Care Ministry will review each request and recommend appropriate next steps. While there are maximum limits based on our guidelines, we strive to be as accommodating as possible. Please understand that we do not provide cash, and checks are never made out to the requester, but rather to the entity requiring payment.

Resources may not be available in every situation, but when needed, assistance may be provided through a referral to an outside source supported by Evangel.
