Offsite Wedding Application | All Campuses

We are very excited about your upcoming wedding and our potential involvement in your special day. Please complete this form in all of its entirety. Please note that Evangel does not begin processing wedding applications until nine months prior to the wedding date. Please allow 30 days for your application to be processed, and the Care Department will contact you regarding the status of your application.

Pre-marriage Process

You are required to attend a seven-week pre-marriage process course, as well as three pre-marriage one-on-one sessions with the Pastor who will be marrying you. These sessions should begin at least three months prior to the wedding date.

The first step is an online assessment through SYMBIS: Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts. Once your wedding application has been approved, you will receive an email with SYMBIS login information and instructions about the assessment. Following completion and receipt of results, the first pre-marriage session will be scheduled with the officiating Pastor.

Upon approval of your Wedding Application, you will be sent a Wedding Guide, which contains further information about the pre-marriage process.

Wedding Fees

Offsite weddings at Evangel include a Pastoral Fee of $400*, a premarital fee of $75, and a travel fee of $200 (if applicable).

*The pastoral fee may vary by pastor.

Personal Information

Your personal information is used for preparation for the pre-marriage process.

If you have marked 'yes' to any questions in the 'personal information' section, a discussion will need to be had with a pastor prior an Evangel pastor's consent to officiate the wedding ceremony.

Evangel reserves the right to recommend postponement or cancellation of the wedding ceremony if, in the course of the pre-marriage process, there are concerns about the spiritual compatibility and/or stability of the relationship. The decision will be made at least 3 months prior to the wedding date.

Premarital sex: Couples who are engaging in premarital sex will be required to abstain until the wedding ceremony.

It is not the practice of Evangel to conduct services or serve as a facility for wedding ceremonies of couples that are living together.

Divorce (if applicable): Events precipitating a previous divorce will need to be discussed prior to the pastor confirming participation in the wedding ceremony.
